Hello! I've been teaching for 18 years. I have taught each grade at the elementary level, in an urban setting.
Teaching style
My philosophy has always been educate the "whole child". So often in this climate educators feel the pressures of standardized tests and common core that we can loose sight of educating the "whole child." There is so much more to teach, than teaching a child how to take a test.

I was on a curriculum comity that helped to write pacing guides and curriculum maps for the city.
My own education history
I have an undergrad degree in Art Education and a Master's degree in Elementary Education.
