My teaching style is structured, high-expectation, and rooted in genuine care for my students. I believe middle schoolers are fully capable of rising to a challenge-so I hold them to high standards and expect them to take accountability for their choices in the classroom. I am not their friend, but I am ABSOLUTELY in their corner. I firmly believe you can be firm, set boundaries, and still love your students and want the absolute best for them. My resources reflect that same philosophy-rigorous, purposeful, and designed to push students to think.
