Simple Teaching ECE

There are questions and answers for four weeks of the Creative Curriculum Clothes Study. The questions are not word for word from the curriculum but they are similar and relate to the weekly investigations. Answers are provided.

Simple, nothing fancy. These would be great to hang around the classroom, dramatic play area or the block area for the Creative Curriculum Signs Study. Most signs are a full page, some are a little smaller. If needed, you can reduce the size when printing to fit your needs.

Great for the holidays and/or an activity to coincide with the book The Gingerbread Man. It could also be utilized as a family project, bulletin boards, etc. Have fun!

Great for a Clothes Study or a clothing theme. Trace on the paper or put it in a dry erase pouch for multiple uses. There is a Cutting page and a Tracing page.

Simple, nothing fancy, but this can be used in correlation with the Creative Curriculum Water Study. Use an extra copy to tape to a dice, and students can make tally marks to record each roll and then count and compare the data. This fun survey can be printed and given to families to fill out so that teachers and staff can get to know their students at the beginning of the school year. Great for child care centers, preschool, kindergarten, and lower elementary grades.

Simple, nothing fancy. A great visual to carry on your lanyard for easy access for students who need visual support throughout the day. Note: these are lanyard size.

Action Pattern Cards. Jump, Stomp, Squat, and Clap. Print, laminate, cut and begin creating action patterns. Great for small or large groups. Creative Curriculum M35

Two versions, English or English and Spanish. Print in color or black and white.

Print as needed for any water/rain theme. The PDF is not editable, however, you can print and then use the border paper in the copy machine. When printing, choose "fill entire paper"

Great for interactive greeting time. I use this in a pocket chart. Pick one student's name for the focus and all students participate with each task. For "fix," I created a name puzzle for each student and the "star/focus" student fixed their own name on the pocket chart. I used "Sounds like" for alliteration. "Clap" the syllables in the name. So many learning objectives can be covered. Print, laminate and cut. Use some or all of the cards.

Simple, nothing fancy. This is a great tool for self regulation, grounding, and supporting students with anxiety and other behaviors.
