This fun activities has students finding the silver lining to COVID 19 as well as looking forward to the future when it no longer exists. Includes real student example, expectations/ grading, requirements for a letter. * This lesson was inspired by an Instagram post I saw.

Inspired by an Instagram post, I created this lesson having students break up with the year 2022. This could be very easily changed to break up with COVID 19. Lesson includes: parts of a letter, requirements/ grading/ letter example.

This encourages students to be engaged with cameras on!! It's a scavenger hunt for distance learning. Students are able to get up and move- my 7th graders ask to place this all the time. Round 1- students can not move. Round 2- students must find the object in the room they are in. Round 3- students can go anywhere in the house to find item. ** please remind kid not to run- to be aware of corners- slippery hard wood floors- pets- siblings and to avoid stepping on legos :) **

First student to type in the chat  who who the Silhouette is gets a point.  Optional- have a die and have each slide be worth whatever is rolled on the die. Middle Schoolers have loved playing this game - use one round as a brain break or use in advisory/ home room. Works great with distance learning. 56 slides. Answers provided in speakers notes
