I started tutoring elementary age children when I was still in high school, and have ever since been working one way or another with students from a wide range of background, age and abilities.
I have worked with kids from preschool age up to college, students with and without disabilities, and students with different learning styles.

Math Journal
This math journal is perfect for any elementary grade. It has graph paper and other resource pages. Perfect for using as a word problem notebook. I usually type in the word problem and students glue it in the notebook and solve the problem right below it.

On this place value center, students are to answer 22 questions about a 6 digit number. The student uses use place value to read, write (in symbols and words), and describe the value of six digits whole numbers.
This is great practice for identifying digits and their values depending of their position in a multiple digit number.
