Students learn more about the Dewey Decimal system by creating their own Dewey call numbers and ordering Dewey Decimal numbers. Students will also review the difference between fiction and nonfiction. Students will enjoy this activity that can easily be used as a center.

Have your students "shop" around in the snack aisle, bakery, and more! Then students can make their shopping list by writing estimates of each priced item and adding those estimates to get the designated total in that section of the grocery store. Includes a blank sheet for teachers to use and write their own desired totals!

Students can use the example diagrams to help identify the parts of multiplication and division problems. The identified areas include factors, product, quotient, dividend, and divisor.
