In this fun activity, students will make decisions on where to place different rooms within a grid according to the royal decree. Each instruction has an area or perimeter attached to it. They can color and decorate the castle when they are finished or add more rooms! This was designed as a review activity in mind. The activity area has squares for those that still

Enjoy 20 assignments for your students! This can be done for homework, centers, early finishers, or working with a para. Most assignments have a cover page detailing what is asked of the student with examples included. I used this for homework in second grade, so the cover page was more for the parents/reminder to students. If they understand, you can skip the first page, but it's there if they need a reminder and an example. SkillsAuthor's Opinion Author's Purpose Finding Details Theme Retell B

This is designed for a self check as well. Students will check each other's work since everyone in the group works on the same number. This activity ca

Round it! Round to the nearest 10. STEP RIGHT UP!This was designed as a 2nd grade center, but can be very helpful for 1st and 3rd graders. Instead of a boring worksheet, this carnival game uses cards numbered 1-100. The students pick a card, round it to the nearest 10 and put the card on the correct number page. This includes blank cards in case you want to make your own, or go over 100. You will also get a recording sheet to keep the kids accountable while in a center. Differentiate by only u

Enjoy this fun classroom management game! Assign groups, teams, or tables to a specific character. On the wall or whiteboard, place the provided tiles (as many as you want). Everyone starts on "START." When a team or group does something positive, reward them by moving their game piece up a tile. Keep doing so until they reach "FINISH." They can then earn a reward. The best part is, everyone stays where they are, so the students aren't competing against each other (unless you want them to!). So
