Experience

I am a high school science teacher in Texas with experience teaching Biology, Chemistry, IPC, and mathematics. I specialize in building structured, engaging curriculum that works in real classrooms while still aligning closely to TEKS and STAAR expectations. Over the years, I have developed pacing guides, review systems, writing supports, hands-on activities, labs, and intervention strategies designed to help both teachers and students feel successful. My classroom experience has shaped every resource I create because I understand the daily realities teachers face: limited time, diverse learners, behavior management, and the pressure of state testing.

Teaching style

My teaching style focuses on organization, engagement, and clarity. I believe students learn best when lessons are organized, visually clear, interactive, and connected to real understanding instead of memorization alone. I also strongly believe in creating resources that support ALL learners through visuals, guided notes, vocabulary supports, writing scaffolds, and consistent classroom routines. Every resource I create is built with the goal of making teaching more manageable while helping students genuinely understand science. The embedded activities within the resources posted are made to: 1) Help teachers align with Exemplary TTESS ratings 2) Embedded supports for students that fall under the special population or ELL umbrella 3) Activities that promote reading comprehension, vocabulary, and writing skills 4) Address pacing issues preparing for STAAR 5) Aligned with new (2026-2027) Biology STAAR Item Types

My own education history

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Science from the University of Houston- Clear Lake I have also earned an MBA in Professional Accounting from Lamar University. Meanwhile, I am currently working towards my Principal as Instructional Leader Certification. My background in both mathematics and science has shaped the way I approach curriculum design: organized, data-driven, and focused on helping students build deep understanding step-by-step.

Structured Science Co. was created to support real teachers in real classrooms. My goal is to create science curriculum that is organized, ready to go, engaging, and realistic to implement during an actual school year. I design resources with pacing, STAAR preparation, and teacher workload in mind. From warm-ups and guided notes to labs, activities, and review systems, everything is intentionally built to save teachers time while improving student learning.
