For this RAFT, students are asked to take on the role of a doctor evaluating Walter Mitty's mental state. Students practice analyzing character using a TAD poll (thoughts, action, dialogue). They research potential diagnoses for Walter Mitty, and then argue whether, based on Thurber's characterization, Mitty suffers from a psychological condition or is "just a dreamer."
