About the store

Experience

I am currently a US History teacher for the time periods of the Great Depression to current era. But I have also taught Post Civil War US History, Geography and Arkansas state history.

Teaching style

My teaching style is attempting to create a collaborative / cooperative learning environment classroom. My classroom is where students are allowed to get creative with their work and show their true selves.

My own education history

BS in Geography from Arizona State University - Graduated with 3.58 GPA Currently finishing up my Masters of Arts in Teaching at Southern Arkansas University with a 3.75 GPA

Additional biographical information

I spent 6 years in the US Army and 6 years on the railroad, so it is safe to say I took a less traditional approach to becoming an educator. I grew up in the big city, but I now teach in rural Arkansas and loving it.
