Experience

Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here. Teaching is one big adventure—and I’m excited to be part of yours! Here you’ll find fun, engaging resources that make your teaching journey easier, your classroom brighter, and your students’ learning come alive. Teaching style

I’m a Canadian teacher from Newfoundland and Labrador with 16 years of experience in K-6. I also have ADHD, which means I’ve spent years figuring out how to stay organized, focused, and on track—and then helping my students do the same. My philosophy is simple: if something works for me, there’s a good chance it’ll work for them too. The resources I create come from real classroom moments—the ones where things click, the ones where they don’t, and everything in between. They’re designed to support focus, organization, and engagement without overcomplicating things (because teaching is busy enough as it is). Everything here is classroom-tested and built for real life—where attention wanders, plans shift, and sometimes the simplest approaches are the ones that work best.

My own education history

I have a B.Ed in Primary/Elementary Education—my official ticket to the wonderful chaos of the classroom. Before that, I earned a B.A. with a Geography major and an English minor, which explains why I’m just as happy mapping the world as I am reading a good story. I also have a M.Ed in Literacy, because books have always been my happy place. And French? I’ve dabbled in it my whole career—enough to sprinkle in a few “bonjours” and keep my students (and myself) laughing along the way.

Additional biographical information

Outside the classroom, I love reading, spending time with friends, and chasing after my busy 3-year-old little boy with my husband—which is a daily reminder that flexible plans and a good sense of humour go a long way.
