Experience

I am a dedicated theatre arts educator with over a decade of experience, specializing in curriculum development and student-centered learning. As a curriculum lead for secondary theatre education across an entire district, I have designed and implemented engaging, standards-aligned programs that foster creativity, critical thinking, and performance skills. My background also includes experience as a special education teacher for elementary students, where I prioritized inclusive and adaptive instruction to support diverse learning needs. Passionate about shaping dynamic and accessible arts education, I strive to cultivate environments where all students can explore and express their authentic voices.

Teaching style

I am a theatre teacher who teaches a variety of modalities and styles. These styles include kinesthetic, visual, auditory, reading/writing. I have found that students learn best when they have different options and the opportunity to get up and move around. I will provide different bellringer and warm up activities that a teacher of any content area can benefit from as well as an arts educator.

I have been a performer my entire life and an educator and director for over a decade. I have successfully built up three high school theatre programs and one middle school program. I love to teach the arts in education and community theatre.
