This math activity was created to encourage estimation and accurate computation up to 500. Students can work individually or with partners to create their shopping list. They will need to budget and monitor their spending and purchases. You can use any sale ad for this activity. It would be a great math activity for repeated use with a variety of sale ads. You could use digital sale ads creating a WebQuest on the computer or paper copies from the newspaper.
