In my 10 years of teaching I have had the opportunity of teaching a variety of learners from elementary special education students to middle school students taking collegiate courses. With a dual education degree in Learning Disabilities and Cognitive Disabilities as well as certification in Elementary Education, I have truly been blessed to play a part in a variety of ways in the education of young people.

I believe the most important contributor to effective teaching is creating an environment that students can't wait to go to. I believe you can create a classroom of engaged learners when students feel that what they do in and outside of school is something that you value and truly care about.
