I send this home at open house to see which parents are willing to help in the classroom. I have it saved in Word so you can change the wording if you would like. The first page is English and the second page is the Spanish version.
This is an editable spelling practice paper you can use during workshop, centers, or homework. It contains the pattern, objective, and the words. Students choose 3 of the activities in the boxes for their assignment. This gives students freedom and choice, catering to their learning styles.
Help stay organized and on track!!
You can print this for every week and use it for a basic agenda for the week. You can change the titles, times, and everything else on it. When you glance at it, you'll know exactly what the week looks like and the topics you are going to teach.
Mon.-Wed. are on the first page and Thurs. Fri, Things to Do List and Reminder List are on the second page.
I usually hole punch it and put it in a binder so you can see the whole week at a time.
The Read and Respond homework includes Mon.-Fri. and then one day of reading for Sat./Sun. so students get one day off a week from reading.
This is what the directions say, but you can change them to fit your preferences. "Homework: Read at least 30 minutes each day from a chapter book or classroom hand out. Then, write the main idea and 3 details using complete sentences. This is due the following Monday. Happy Reading!"
I hand it out Monday and collect it the following Monday.
This is just a simple weekly planner you can send home with students to help them remember their homework and other school related reminders. You can change the font and edit it to your likings. :)
