About the store
I have been fortunate enough to be able to teach for the last 7 years in a variety of grades. I student taught in Illinois, Northern Chicago suburbs in kindergarten and fourth grade. Then, I moved to Des Moines, Iowa and have taught 1st grade, 3rd grade, and 5th grade. I have a very high energy style and try to make every digital and easy to access with a few clicks so that I can prep my week very easily! I also have taught adult English classes for adults who speak little to no English.

About the store

Experience

Teaching style

I have used pieces of Whole Brain Teaching, Responsive Classroom, PBIS, Jan Richardson, and many other strategies and programs to enhance my teaching. Overall, I am a very animated teacher that uses a lot of technology when I can!

My own education history

I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Iowa in elementary education with endorsements in reading, math, and science. I received my master's degree from Grand Canyon University in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
