Hi everyone! My name is Alexandra Brown and I'm a 3rd grade General Education Teacher in an ICT classroom at a charter school in New York City. I have been teaching at my school for 3 years since I've graduated from college and recently received a Masters of Science in Teaching from Fordham University.

My teaching philosophy as a 3rd grade general education teacher in an ICT classroom is that no matter what, my scholars can and will achieve to their highest potential. I believe in the power of differentiation for all students, not just struggling learners because it provides a point of access and extension for an entire classroom of learners. I thoroughly believe that the opportunity to learn is one of the most valuable privileges a person could have and I teach my scholars to value that they have the opportunity to learn everyday. All of my lessons and resources I upload are Common Core Aligned. You also find many differentiated materials I use each day to allow my scholars to reach their full potential each day!
