About the store
I have been a classroom teacher for 17 years. Most of that time has been spent working with Gifted & Talented students in Middle School English Language Arts. I have taught in grades 1-8, some of that time as a Gifted Specialist doing pull-outs for enrichment. I have also served as my district's Gifted Coordinator.

About the store

Experience

I have been a classroom teacher for 17 years. Most of that time has been spent working with Gifted & Talented students in Middle School English Language Arts. I have taught in grades 1-8, some of that time as a Gifted Specialist doing pull-outs for enrichment. I have also served as my district's Gifted Coordinator.

Teaching style

My classroom encourages open and respectful dialogue that creates an energetic environment filled with engaged students who become confident participants in their own learning. I think of it as a structured yet flexible style that helps students learn to be risk-takers within a supportive space. My products aim to create a rigorous environment that empowers students to be self-aware and take responsibility for their learning.
