Engage your students with the Rational Root Theorem Activity. Students have a set of possible rational roots and must select the correct possible roots for each function. The functions all have 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, or 10 as the constant value and lead coefficient to assess their skill level and prepare them for multiple choice questions that would be seen on a test or final exam. Are your students struggling or bored with factoring trinomials? Try the Factoring Dominoes. Students complete the activity with traditional Domino rules, but must match trinomials and their factors end to end. Your students will have fun while factoring, and that really is possible! The Math Lab

This is another one of our students favorites! Students create their own book on Arithmetic and Geometric Sequences and Series. The project includes requirements and specific examples they must complete in their book as well as extras such as a comic strip, book mark, or pop-up page. Assess your students' knowledge of Arithmetic and Geometric Sequences with this Pattern Puzzle. Students will identify formulas and vocabulary that pertain to each type of sequence as well as three of each type of sequence, r or d value, and explicit formula for the sequences.
