Graphing Derivatives Activity
Enhance your students' knowledge of graphing derivatives with this activity. Through cooperative learning, creation of graphs, and a gallery walk students will sharpen their calculus skills.
Calculus Skills Involved:
- graphing a derivative based on the graph of f(x)
- creating a sign chart
- identifying intervals of increasing and decreasing
- identifying inflection points

Slope-Intercept Form and Graphing Linear Equations Notes
Do your students need a refresher on slope-intercept form and graphing linear functions? This is just want you need. I use this after winter break with my Algebra 1 students. It covers the basics and highlights the common mistakes such as adding x and 2 to get 2x. This would be a great handout for the beginning of class or after a test or even as homework. Students could work in pairs or small groups or individually. This worksheet is very versatile. An answer key is included. Check it out.

Our classrooms are high energy, interactive, student led, informative, and common-core based. We use a variety of strategies such as Kagan and CRISS strategies to engage my students. My classroom is also technology and data driven.
