About the store
I have taught math for 29 years in a public school system. The first 2 years were at a junior high school and the last 27 have been at a 9-12 high school. The subjects include basic math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus AB. I have also taught the many new math courses the state of Georgia has implemented in the past decade: Math 1, Math 2, Math 3, and Math 4. We are currently implementing the Common Core math courses of which I will be teaching Pre-Calculus and Statistical Reasoning.

Graphing Sinusoidal Functions Practice

This worksheet gives students practice graphing sinusoidal functions with amplitude, midline, and horizontal changes. It uses both radians and degrees to give students practice with both systems of measure. Students are also asked to give characteristics of some graphs such as x-intercepts, y-intercept, and period.

Teaching style

I believe learning math is like learning to play an instrument; you must practice. I assign homework almost every night and plan work sessions for at least part of the block each day (we are on a modified 4 block schedule). Technology in the form of the graphing calculator is integrated throughout the learning process.
