In this project, students find an image of a parabola in the real world and use Desmos to help them write a quadratic equation in intercept form that models the parabola. The focus of this project is writing a quadratic equation in intercept form y=a(x-p)(x-q) when given the x-intercepts and a point on the parabola. Students should have prior experience with this, including finding the "a" value. Please note that this project is more appropriate for Algebra 2, as intercept form is usually not co
