This is a fantastic collaborative activity! There is so much math behind this art: What is a tessellation?Why do only some shapes tessellate?How does this tessellation relate to square numbers?Each student gets their own Tessellation Tree (or two if they're up to it!) - carefully hand drawn so the lights on every tree links to the adjacent one!
