Powers are very powerful! And can be a lot of fun. In this FIVE set bundle, the challenges are built around a different “Power Number.” This helps students understand how to combine scoring numbers to get close to a target number. For example, Power Number 27 challenges feature scoring numbers 3^3; Power Number 81 challenges use scoring number combinations 3^4 and 9^2.

We create learning games and brainteasers that are entirely student driven. Kids love to play them – and the more they play, the more they learn. Our games work by teaching students strategies, which help them get better and win…but in the process, they’re actually mastering specific, important learning principles.
With ThinkFun Classroom Experiences, available through Teachers Pay Teachers and ThinkFun learning games, we’re able to provide teachers with screen based resource materials – allowing teachers, like you, to lead a group discussion without having to become an expert on the topic yourself.

Additional biographical information
Bill Ritchie comes from a family of engineers and creatives, his father spent his career at Bell Laboratories. It was his father's colleague Bill Keister who invented all the original puzzles for ThinkFun. In 1984, Bill's wife Andrea Barthello said, "Hey, let's start a company to bring Mr. Keister's puzzles to market." And the rest is history.
