Have your students learn and research the 2017 Total Eclipse using NASA's website! Students will click on links, watch videos, and decipher between facts and fiction about eclipses. Students can create this Biome Flip Book as a way to focus on one Biome's characteristics as a means to learn about how Biomes differ. Or, use as a whole class activity and assign a Biome to each student. Finish the activity by allowing students to use their classmates Flip Books to fill in the Biomes Chart. (Biomes Chart can be purchased as a bundle from my store to use individually or in conjunction with the Biome Flip Book.)

I use this worksheet often as a lab sheet during a laboratory experiment to help the students focus on the question we are investigating, what is required for the experiment, what they observe during the experiment, and have a designated space for them to form a conclusion. This is an all purpose lab sheet that is handy to keep around.

Classroom Poster of the 3 P's: Be Prepared, Be Polite, and Be Prompt. These are great reminders to post in your classroom for your students. I teach these as a guideline as to behavior expectations in my classroom. Bright and cheery! A great addition to your classroom decor.

The 3 C’s are much like the summary that comes at the end of Cornell Notes but it doesn’t require students to do any paper folding or line drawing. Students simply write in the provided spaces. The template has two sections of the 3C’s plus I copy double sided for my students. I have them turn in each full sheet (4 sections) of the 3 C’s for a grade. You could also incorporate the summaries into your notebook grade or interactive notebook sections.

This survey gives students a choice to voice how class is going for them so far. I have these sheets, along with individual grade reports, in folders for the parents to come look at while they are waiting to conference with me on Parent Teacher Conference night. I have had great success using this short survey to focus the parents for our conference. I have included both a general survey for any class and the one I use for my Science classes.
