Students can create this Biome Flip Book as a way to focus on one Biome's characteristics as a means to learn about how Biomes differ. Or, use as a whole class activity and assign a Biome to each student. Finish the activity by allowing students to use their classmates Flip Books to fill in the Biomes Chart. (Biomes Chart can be purchased as a bundle from my store to use individually or in conjunction with the Biome Flip Book.)
Have your students practice their observation skills using citrus fruits! This activity will have your students practicing observing, recording data, graphing, and using both Quantitative and Qualitative data while having fun! You gotta love an activity that leaves your classroom smelling great!
I use this worksheet often as a lab sheet during a laboratory experiment to help the students focus on the question we are investigating, what is required for the experiment, what they observe during the experiment, and have a designated space for them to form a conclusion. This is an all purpose lab sheet that is handy to keep around.

This survey gives students a choice to voice how class is going for them so far. I have these sheets, along with individual grade reports, in folders for the parents to come look at while they are waiting to conference with me on Parent Teacher Conference night. I have had great success using this short survey to focus the parents for our conference. I have included both a general survey for any class and the one I use for my Science classes.
