About the store

Experience

I have 13 years of teaching 7-12th Math, 7-12th Science, High School Health, High School Computer Apps, and Middle School Thinking Skills.

Teaching style

I believe that pictures tend to stick with students more than words alone. I also believe that thinking and being able to use information in a new setting is more important than just memorizing without understanding. Often, understanding and use helps people to be able to commit information to memory. Additionally, I like to see students discover relationships between concepts for themselves, rather than simply telling them.

My own education history

High School Major: Environmental Science Bachelor's Degree: Practical Christian Training, Minor: Administrative Technology Master's Degree: Secondary Education

Additional biographical information

Please let me know if you enjoy STEM. What is your favorite topic/subject within STEM? I enjoy all kinds of math the most overall, but I also geek out about the history and trends of the Periodic Table. Additionally, I enjoy puzzles/riddles that require creative thinking.
