The document attached includes 4 project choice pages, 1 for each quarter. These pages introduce the guidelines for the independent reading book, project due date and then 4-8 different mini-projects that students can choose to complete. I have also included rubrics for 11 different projects that students can use to complete a project and then teachers can use to grade the projects. These projects could also be used for the culminating activity at the end of Lit Circles. Enjoy!

I use Blogger to keep track of what my middle school students are reading for independent reading. Instead of doing reading logs or worksheets I post a weekly question to the blog that students must answer.
