Teaching style

I bring a strengths-based approach to therapy, regularly collaborating with other professionals to embrace everything that makes each child unique. My specialties include community-based language therapy, executive function supports, and all things AAC.

My own education history

Bachelors Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Saint Xavier University Chicago

Additional biographical information

Thrive Beyond Words is a nod to my roots as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (because, let's face it, not all communication happens through words!), but it's also a reminder to myself and others that there's more to life than just our professions.
