Experience

I've been in education for over 25 years. I've taught Pre-K, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and was a media specialist for 8 years. I am currently an academic interventionist serving students in K-5.

Teaching style

I encourage my students to work together in groups to foster team building. As with all classrooms, I know the importance of structure and the stability that provides to my students.

My own education history

I attended Valdosta State University where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with Reading Endorsement. I received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Phoenix. I attended the University of West Georgia to obtain my Media Specialist Certification. I received by Specialist Degree from the University of West Georgia in School Library Media along with Instructional Technology.
