This project assignment challenges students to incorporated 4 of the most common vex sensors on to a pre-made vex clawbot. Students should already have built the vex clawbot prior to working on this project. Additionally, this assignment contains RobotC programming questions to aid in the project. The 4 sensors used in this project are: optical shaft encoder, limit switch, button switch / bumper switch, and a potentiometer. At the end of the document, I give the programming solutions to the proj
This product documents instructions on how to attach an optical shaft encoder to a pre-built Vex Clawbot using the Vex cortex system. This optical shaft encoder will enable the student to measure the angular distance traveled by the rear right wheel of the clawbot. This assignment is for students who have already built a vex clawbot, and this will help them learn the basics of programming sensors by editing the clawbot code.
