About the store

Experience

I've been teaching for over 10 years in Texas. I've taught mainly Science and History during those years.

Teaching style

I find that small group is one of the best ways to reach students in class. I use this in my class daily and have focused my activities to allow for the independent study to take place while I pull my groups of all levels.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Teacher of the year 2018, Teacher of the year 2022

My own education history

I attended a junior college to get my pre-requisites out of the way. Then I attended SHSU to earn my bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary studies. I then went back to get my masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

Additional biographical information

I am a mother to three beautiful children. When I have downtime I am either reading a new book or trying to work out on the treadmill while watching Grey's Anatomy for the 50th time!
