3 by 3 digit multiplication graphic organizer
This is a graphic organizer for teaching the standard algorithm multiplication for 3 by 3 digit, which goes with Grade 5, Module 2 in the Engage math curriculum. I use it by printing a copy and putting it in a sheet protector for a student to practice with a dry erase marker. It's a great visual support for special education purposes.

Feelings vs Traits quick sort
This is quick sort of feelings vs traits that can be used in a Reading unit involving a character study. Students use the word bank to place each word in the left or right, depending on if it is a feeling or trait. The saying we use is "Feelings are fleeting, but traits are tried and true!"

Teaching style
I've worked with students with learning disabilities for my entire career and helped them access the general education curriculum in all subject areas: reading, writing, social studies, and math. I differentiate Engage and Eureka math curriculum by providing concrete tools or altering problem sets/hws. I also have a special interest in social emotional learning. I always try to be sensitive to what my students are feeling and how I speak to them, for example, giving compliments on their work before giving feedback.
