This is a simple worksheet that I used after showing the movie "Frozen" (in French!). It is not required that students view the film since they all know the characters fairly well. Students are asked to describe each character in 3-4 sentences using physical description and personality traits (we referred to Unit 4 of "Discovering French" Bleu). For younger students, the pictures work well for coloring as well.
Partner-finding activity with a list of French-speaking cities/countries. At the beginning of the school year, students travel around class and find partners for each city/country (make sure both partners write names in the same spot, and that there are no repeats of names). When doing a partner activity for the rest of the year, teacher can say "Get with your Montreal partner!" and not have to worry about pairing up students themselves. Hopefully a time saver!
Students describe their ideal pet (or ideal car) using descriptive adjectives. There is a space to write 5-7 sentences, then a box for a drawing. Fun to share as a class!
