Word Mats for Early Writers
These word mats work equally well as inspiration and as mini spelling reference sheets for beginning writers. There are multiple levels for the same topic, so your students can write about the same topic with a resource that is targeted to their abilities. Writing Checklists for all ages
These little checklists are used by students to self-monitor their editing process. Before they are finished a piece of writing, they make sure that they've done each of the things on their list. There are four different lists, easily colour-coded to differentiate for abilities: Pink for emergent writers, orange for Year 1, yellow for Years 2-3, and green for advanced Year 3 and up. This resource saves the educators time and gives the student much more agency by scaffolding their editing process

Reading Comprehension - School Novels
Reading groups are sorted! Just grab a set novels for your group, introduce the beginning to them, and let them read the first few chapters. With these comprehension questions to guide them, your students can self-monitor their learning, and you can quickly check in to make sure everyone is understanding what they read.
