Common Core now requires students to solve complex word problems and be able to verbalize and justify their answers. This product was created to assess those abilities and provide the students with a quick and easy way to practice those skills.
This set requires students to solve word problems relating to each of the grade level standards in the areas of Fractions. Included in the set are 14 different tasks that are available for your students to use.
To use, simply print and cut in half. (problems are two per page to save paper) and have students glue these into their notebooks. They solve the problem and show all of their work, strategies, models and mathematical thinking in the empty space below.
