This is a packet that contains 22 different story problems for math, aligned to the First Grade Common Core Math Standards, all related to April (however it wouldn't necessarily need to be done in April-but they are better suited for the April-end of year in First Grade).

It includes problems related to:
*adding and subtracting 2 addends
*missing addend story problems
*3 addend adding and subtracting story problems
*10 more or 10 less
*Adding 2 digit numbers
*Subtracting multiples of 10
*Fair Shares

TWO VERSIONS ARE INCLUDED: VERSION 1: Each page has a different problem with room for students to show their work AND they also have room to WRITE their thinking, using a simple form carried over from Language Arts.
VERSION 2: There is less room for showing work/drawing pictures and added room for writing their reasoning. It includes the First, Next, Then and Last but I also added "because" and a line to finish the thought.
