Using one of the 20 ready-to-go boards, have students identify number sentences using numbers that are touching in some way (sides or corners).
These boards are a great way to differentiate, as the difficulty of the activity depends on the type and length of number sentence that students write. This activity can be done in whole group, individually, partners or during math centers! Turn it into a quick, easy game and have two students play on the same Boggle Board and record their number sentences on the recording sheets.

I've used this resource both online and in the classroom. My students really enjoy finding as many equations as they can. Some of my more able students like to find multiple step problems and use as many numbers as they can. They get really excited.
My kids loved doing this activity and they can't wait to do it again.
