This is a packet that contains 20 different story problems for math, aligned to the First Grade Common Core Math Standards, all related to Bugs. They are better suited for the April-end of year in First Grade difficulty-wise.

It includes problems related to:
*adding and subtracting 2 addends
*missing addend story problems
*3 addend adding and subtracting story problems
*10 more or 10 less
*Adding 2 digit numbers
*Subtracting multiples of 10
*Fair Shares

TWO VERSIONS ARE INCLUDED: VERSION 1: Each page has a different problem with room for students to show their work AND they also have room to WRITE their thinking, using a simple form carried over from Language Arts.
VERSION 2: There is less room for showing work/drawing pictures and added room for writing their reasoning. It includes the First, Next, Then and Last but I also added "because" and a line to finish the thought.
