Description

In today’s technological world, it is really essential that students know how to use a calculator, yet it is very surprising to find that very few students do know how to use one. This set includes 72 progressive task cards that will provide your students with the foundational skills needed to manipulate a calculator. There are six different sets, 12 in each set, for your students to work through, that begin with simple one-digit addition and subtraction problems and gradually progress to harder multiplication and division problems; giving them exposure to all of the basic calculator tabs needed in life.

What is included (in order based on skill level):

Orange set – single digit addition & subtraction

Pink set – 2-digit minus or add 1-digit

Green set – 2-digit minus or add 2-digit

Purple set – adding & subtracting 3 numbers

Yellow set – single digit multiplication & division

Blue set – 2-digit multiply or divide by 1-digit

*Answer keys & student recording sheets included*

Suggestions for use:

Print task cards on cardstock, laminate and cut out. Print enough student recording sheets for each student. Each set consists of 12 cards. Students work through each set of 12, recording their answers on the answer sheet. Once they receive an 80% or better on the set, they are ready to move onto the next set. I use these as a math center & my students love it!!!

This was great prep for using a calculator for my kids. We got to practice BEFORE we were given access to the "real deal" with the cute printed calculators.
