Description
Great for any content area, this step by step project description allows students to create a collage using Thinglink. Thinglink is an in-image interaction tool that allows the user to make images come alive with music, video, text, images and more! When a thinglink is created, it sets 'tags' upon the images which can contain text, additional images or links to additional information. Thinglink is the ultimate in digital project based learning for students.
There are two styles of instruction sheets in this pack. One for the desktop computer using Powerpoint and the Thinglink.com website. The other for iOS devices using the free thinglink app and the free app Photo Collage Creator.
This product is a Word file for editing. The instructions are generic and can be used with any content area. The idea is for students to collect 8 - 10 images that suit the subject matter and then to tag the images with explanations as to why they chose each item AND include a link to the cite that contains the image (for attribution purposes)
A rubric for grading is included.
****Please note: Thinglink.com and the thinglink app require student registration via e-mail. A work-around tip IS provided in the pack explaining how to create ONE teacher gmail account and adding student extensions to that account.****
