Description

This packet provides 9 weeks (Weeks 1-9) of daily language review and practice that includes proofreading practice, parts of speech, prefixes, multiple meaning words, and reference skills. Each week is a combination of fill in the blank, multiple choice, and short answer.

This packet can be used for bell work, warm-up, independent practice, a center activity, homework, test prep, or whole group review. I have used this in my 2nd and 3rd grade classrooms, but it would also be appropriate for the end of 1st grade or 4th grade review. Download the preview for a look!

Standards Addressed:

CCSS ELA Literacy Language Standard 1: Demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking.

CCSS ELA Literacy Language Standard 2: Demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English capitalization, punctuation, and spelling when writing.

CCSS ELA Literacy Language Standard 4: Determine or clarify the meaning of unknown and multiple-meaning word and phrases based on grade 3 reading and content, choosing flexibly from a range of strategies.
