This packet includes *** (updated!) EIGHT math centers/tub activities to use while teaching the Comparing Numbers standard. They are made for the first grade common core standard for comparing numbers and give ideas for differentiating as well. Each activity includes directions and everything you need to complete the activity. (you will need tens and ones blocks to do one of the activities) I use these as practice, with small group re-teaching, and to give to tutors to work with my students. I have also included 2 independent pratice pages at the end to use as an informal assessment. ***JUST ADDED: Number cards in the single digits and 3 digits for differentiating & 3 new activities. These are made for first, but could easily be adapted to K or 2nd.

Teaching has always been in my heart. I have been teaching for the past 18 years and have experience in teaching grades 1-5. I have taught multi-age and looping classrooms as well as traditional classes. I have been lucky that 15 years of my experience has included first grade which is my first love!
