I do daily math journals with my kinders and have found that I love making my own story problems--and my kinders do too! I print out one sheet per day (typically it is enough for an entire class), cut apart (or run on labels), and adhere them at the top of the page. I love how much paper it saves having it all on one sheet!

My kinders have grown SO much this year by doing these daily math journal prompts. Also, listening to their math verbage as they explain the different ways they got their answers is AMAZING! I did not realize 5 year olds could be so proficient with these!
