This unit includes activities that follow Common Core Standards. These activities can be used with your whole class or with small groups. This unit gives your class the opportunity to explore community helpers through writing activities, sorting activities, songs, and much more. There are also craft activities to enhance their writing.
Also included in this unit are math activities that use ten frames, number lines and trains of ten to practice numbers 1-20, writing equations, counting on from a given number and base ten activities. There are also literacy and math center activities.
