Description

These 32 task cards assist students in comparing numbers in the millions. The numbers to be compared are almost identical, which causes students to look closely to identify the values.

Some ideas as to how to use the cards:
*Students identify greater than/less than using road cone symbols.
*Students identify the greater number and awarding it a trophy.
*Students can answer cards and move forward using the Task Card Raceway.
*Students answer cards during a Scoot game.
*Students answer cards during intervention or a center station.

Table of Contents:
Slide 3 - Ideas for Use
Slides 4 & 5 - Task Card Raceway (this can be used for other 32 task card sets as well)
Slides 6 - 16 - Task Cards
Slides 17 &18 - Answer Document and Answer Key (symbols and greater than number)
Slides 19 - 23 Game Pieces and Extras (Cars, Road Cone Symbols, Trophies, Blank Comparison Task Cards)

This pack does come with a blank vertical answer sheet for student use. If you would like a horizontal page or a 2 per page document, I have free task card answer sheets available in my store.

Thank you to MelonHeadz Illustrating for her adorable clip art.

My students worked in small groups and were very engaged. It was better than just doing a worksheet.
