This is a great writing activity to use at the end of the school year or on those special days in which you recognize all the hard-working people in your own school.

I begin by giving each student their own sheet. After writing their heartfelt thoughts, they draw a special picture at the bottom. I collect their sheets, make it into a book and present it to our special person. What a great memory!
