Teaching style

The best part about teaching? Seeing those bright-eyed kiddos light up with excitement for learning! Watching them grow throughout the year is so rewarding. I'm all about keeping things fun, colorful, and super creative! I love spending time hunting for new ideas, exploring best practices, and crafting supplemental teaching resources for my classroom to keep my students actively engaged in learning. Hopefully, you and your students will enjoy these resources as much as I do!

Awards & shining teacher moments

I've snagged a few accolades along the way, including being a Nationally Certified Counselor (NBCC Credential) and a Teacher-Leader. I have enjoyed serving as the chairperson on various school improvement committees and have been a pilot teacher for textbook selection and actively involved in our curriculum councils.

My own education history

I have earned a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Counseling.
