This is a simple poem that I love to create with my students after we read "When Autumn Falls" (or any fall book will do). Students come up with one "fall thing" that corresponds to each of their five senses. For example: I see (leaves falling down). I smell (apple pie). I feel (gooey pumpkin seeds). Use this for anything Thanksgiving related. It works perfectly for a "I am thankful for..." writing. You could also use it to write facts about the first Thanksgiving or their Thanksgiving family traditions.

This is a fun game to practice "adding on" two. Students will play with a partner to try to be the first one to cover all of the numbers. Each student will use a gameboard. They will take turns rolling two dice and couting the dots. Then, they will add two more to their number and cover.
