Kids love music, but they don't always like English class. After introducing some basic types of figurative language, students can complete this project in which they find song lyrics that contain at least three types of figurative language. Students will create a PowerPoint presentation which analyzes their song of choice's lyrics which will be presented to the class. A detailed rubric is also included.
